I should be asleep, but instead I did this. No. She's not standing on air.

This is Ri, an Original Character from Naruto. It started as me wanting to draw myself as a ninja, and ended up with her own backstory.

She is a tomboy to the max. Most people think she's a boy. She skips out of the "stupid girls classes" whenever she can. Most of her teachers know this, though, and find her.

She is a year younger than Shikamaru, but they lived in the same part of town growing up. She never got to play with him much, but was very interested in a boy who liked to play Go and Shogi more than with other children (did he? I dunno. Speculation).

She decides to be a ninja after he does, and tries to emulate his lifestyle. However, she is also compelled to be a great ninja, and she knows she does not have the same strategy power of Shikamaru. Thus, she trains hard, but when people walk by they only see a girl staring at the clouds.

She studies hard for all the tests, but doesn't bother to do well on them. She doesn't care if she gets bad grades as long as she knows what's being taught.

The funny thing is, by trying to be like Shikamaru, she actually makes herself more work. She develops acute hearing, and is able to tell who is coming from half a mile away.
